Abstract Story

Hey guys, the past two days were relaxing for me and I got inspired to get more writing done. In the everyday quest to experience life to its fullest do we fill any closer to our true purpose? the voice that motivates us to want more? This short scene I'm about to post is me just toying with that idea. enjoy.

Its pitch black, and the screen starts to blink and a fuzzy point of view slowly starts to give way to an all encompassing white space. Our character has gain consciousness. now standing on a black platform that appears to be in an odd-shape. He stands around looking confused, he does a 360 scan area looking for anything in the distance and sees nothing, the space around him is unending. disturbed, a voice calls to him..."HELLO!?...no wait that's stupid...there's no one here, what is this place?" our character has a smile of relief and quickly responds "WHO-WHO SAID THAT!? I HEARD YOU AND I'M HERE TOO" the other voice replies "UH...UM...GOD?" Our character chuckles and gives us his name "NO...ha ha...I'm SPENCER" other voice pauses and starts snapping his fingers to himself as if he's remembering something that's dancing right on the edge of his thoughts. he does a quick pace and hesitantly says "YOU WOULDN'T HAPPEN TO BE SPENCER ANTHONY HUH?" (now our main character is known as Spencer) Spencer replies "UH YEAH...HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?" The voice finally reveals his identity "ITS ME VICTOR!? WE WENT TO SCHOOL TOGETHER, I KNEW I RECOGNIZED YOUR VOICE HA HA!" Spencer now excited that he's with someone familiar his voice loses its fear and responds "VIC!!! YES!!! WHERE ARE YOU BRO?" Victor looks around trying to make sense of the madness, smirks, shrugs his shoulders and says "I'M ON A WEIRD PLATFORM THAT SHAPED STRANGE....IT HAS ALL SORTS OF GAPS IN IT...WHERE ARE YOU? Spencer says "YEAH ME TOO, SINCE I CAN HEAR YOU, WE GOTTA BE WITHIN THE VICINITY OF EACH OTHER...LOOK LETS TRY AND FOLLOW EACH OTHER VOICES AND MEET...MAYBE WE CAN FIGURE THIS OUT" Victor listening starts shaking his head in a frantic agreement and says "YEAH OKAY". As both Spencer and Victor use their voices to find each other, they carefully move forward walking and jumping over the strange gaps in the platform. We get a bird's eye view shot of the two guys shown to be walking on opposite ends of the word "DESTINY" when Spencer and Victor finally comes face to face with each other Spencer now panting says "do you know how we got here?" END SCENE.
